3D Visual and Motion Graphics Artist

The Visual & Motion Artist will be responsible for creating visually striking, photo-realistic, and emotionally engaging imagery and animations. This includes image retouching, 3D rendering, compositing, and motion graphics, blending creativity with technical expertise to deliver world-class visual content across automotive and lifestyle projects.
You’ll collaborate closely with creative, 3D, and visualization teams to craft visuals that elevate Eccentric’s design and storytelling benchmarks.
Eccentric’s Mission
We are building a Showroom-like experience in a virtual world where a vehicle buyer
- Can take a 3D walkthrough of all models/variants/trims on sale
- Can customize the vehicle and see exactly how it looks like and how much it will cost
- Can take a ‘Virtual Consultation’ with a sales agent in the virtual world (some like to call it Metaverse)
Key Responsibilities
- Retouch, enhance, and manipulate images to achieve high-end, realistic results.
- Develop and execute photo-realistic shading, lighting, and rendering using tools like Blender (Maya knowledge is a plus).
- Create and integrate 3D models and elements aligned with creative direction and brand aesthetics.
- Design and animate motion graphics and video content for social media, digital campaigns, and mobile experiences.
- Seamlessly merge 3D renders, photographic elements, and visual effects for final outputs.
- Perform color correction, compositing, and post-production finishing for all visual assets.
- Collaborate with creative and art teams to interpret briefs and translate concepts into polished visuals.
- Manage multiple projects under tight timelines, maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Photoshop techniques, 3D rendering, and motion graphics tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects (non-negotiable).
- Strong knowledge of 3D rendering, shading, lighting, and motion graphics.
- Experience with Blender; familiarity with Maya is an added advantage.
- Skilled in photo manipulation, compositing, and digital artwork creation.
- Understanding of audio-visual synchronization and video editing workflows.
- Excellent sense of visual aesthetics, storytelling, and composition.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across creative teams.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Bonus points if you:
- Have worked in a tech, product, or creative agency environment
- Have experience with UI/UX or interactive design
- Are comfortable storyboarding or art-directing shoots and renders
- Know your way around 3D tools like Blender, C4D, or similar
Good to Have / Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools (Adobe Firefly, Luminar Neo, Topaz Labs, Runway ML, Remini).
- Understanding of AI masking and generative fill to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Knowledge of CAD/Engineering files, retopology, and UV unwrapping for texturing.
- Experience creating tile-able textures and materials using baking techniques.
- Interest in exploring emerging technologies that elevate visual storytelling.
