We have created a world-class 3D Visualization platform that makes vehicles accessible to all. We are looking for a Sr. 3D Artist who will help build the next generation of visualization of Automotive Retail Globally.
Eccentric’s Mission
We are building a Showroom-like experience in a virtual world where a vehicle buyer
- Can take a 3D walkthrough of all models/variants/trims on sale
- Can customize the vehicle and see exactly how it looks like and how much it will cost
- Can take a ‘Virtual Consultation’ with a sales agent in the virtual world (some like to call it Metaverse)
What you’ll do
- Lead and oversee the creation of high-quality 3D models, textures, and assets, ensuring adherence to project requirements and artistic direction
- Collaborate with the team lead and project stakeholders to define project deliverables, timelines, and technical specifications.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior artists, assisting them in achieving their full potential.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables, meeting project milestones and deadlines.
- Maintain a high level of quality in work output, while continuously pushing the boundaries of creativity and technical skills.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless integration and consistency across the project.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
- Assist in the optimization and streamlining of the 3D development process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the smooth progression of projects.
- Provide feedback and constructive critiques to team members to help improve the overall quality of work.
What we seek
- Extensive experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and asset creation for games, films, or other interactive media.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, such as Maya, Blender, and Photoshop.
- Knowledge on these Software would Be Plus ZBrush, 3ds Max, Unreal Engine, Unity
- Strong understanding of 3D modeling techniques, topology, texturing, UV mapping, and asset optimization.
- Solid knowledge of lighting, shading, rendering, and other aspects of the 3D pipeline.
- Excellent artistic and technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Leadership and team management abilities, with experience in guiding and mentoring junior artists.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and feedback to team members and stakeholders.
- A portfolio demonstrating a high level of proficiency and creativity in 3D modeling and texturing.
- Hard Surface and Automotive Centric Portfolio would be Plus
- Minimum 5 to 6 years’ Experience
